Sydney Blue Sox operates the Switch Performance physical development platform for youth baseball players aged 4–17. We are committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What we collect

  • Player name and date of birth
  • Parent or guardian name and email address
  • Age group assignment
  • Workout completion logs (sets, reps, weights, durations, self-ratings)
  • Coach feedback and notes
  • IP address at the time parental consent is given (retained for 12 months)

3. How we use it

We use personal information solely to operate the platform — tracking player progress, enabling coach feedback, and supporting parental oversight. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Where we store it

All data is stored on Australian servers (Sydney region). We do not transfer personal information overseas.

5. Minors

Players under 18 require verifiable parental or guardian consent before their data is collected. Consent is recorded and can be withdrawn at any time by contacting your club administrator.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you or your child. To exercise these rights, contact your club administrator. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as an account is active. When an account is closed, personal identifiers are anonymised within 30 days. IP addresses collected at consent are purged after 12 months.
